Introducing Marleith

Marlieth is from the Elven Tree village of Yvalenor in the Principality of Iasnya.

She is the oldest member of the Hellblades at 96 but for an elf she's still in her rebellious older teen phase.

The teams thief and scout, as an elf she has some innate abilities, she can move stealthily, especially in forests, she can see well at night without the benefit of a light source, she can use minor magics and she is gifted with sensitive hearing.

Marleith is pansexual and finds Asaia exotically beautiful. She isn't put off by Asaia's heterosexual nature and continues to make friendly passes at the Mage. She is aware of Rollo's infatuation with her but while he's “easy on the eyes” she doesn't actually find him attractive. She's considered bedding Sval but is afraid of his size.

Marleith uses a short sword, daggers and an elf bow. She is not just a thief and archer but is a skilled bowyer and fletcher. She also knows how to knap stone arrowheads. 

She occasionally considers a change of profession and studying magic, she knows several cantrips. 

Marleith speaks, reads and writes Kelsh and Elfish

She speaks the two secret languages of the Elven folk, Orcaas, Goblish, Gnollk and The common language of the dwarves, Marnish.

Introducing Asaia

Asaia is a Mocathan Mage born in the town of Maybrooke on Southern Keltain coast. Her father was exiled from Zekalia by the King so she too may never go to the island of her ancestors. As such Asaia grew up with a completely Kelsh personality. She speaks with the local accent and follows the local customs, but also keeps the important ones from her parents homeland.

At Twelve Asaia was apprenticed to Frelkon, a Low Gift Mage. After her initial training at Fourteen Frelkon acknowledged that Asaia's Gift was stronger than his. Frelkon sent her to the Tower of Loras near the Captal where they determined she has the Middle Gift 

Over time she became proficient with using her staff as a focus and a weapon, her daggers as weapons for ranged and melee attacks. Her secondary focus is a Leyus Pendant.

She speaks, reads and writes in Kelsh, Mocathan, Hosthi and Kalenshal.

She speaks Elfish and Orcaas.

Skilled in Fire and Earth magic as well as Detection and Information spells.

Introducing Sval

Sval is a blond haired and blue eyed Northman from the Island of Jarlkanda far to the north of Keltain. 

He is a truly massive person, to the point that finding a horse for him to ride is difficult. Very strong and has exceptional endurance and tolerance for cold. 

He is boisterous and has a great capacity for alcohol. Very fun loving but has a decidedly serious side while in battle. He isn't a healing battery, in the fight he will be in the thick of it, only stopping to perform a healing is a comrade is critically injured and dying, otherwise he'll put it off in favor of fighting until the fight is over.

As a Priest of Boers the God of Smiths and Dwarves his weapon and holy symbol is a war hammer. Technically is allowed to use the title Father, but rarely does.

Despite his gruff manner, Sval is always encouraging and looking after his weaker and smaller friends. He is considered the toughest member if the group and is frequently the one out front when thr fighting starts.

His tattoos are not just decorative, they also have magical enchantments that he can use.

Speaks, reads and writes Jarlkand, Kelsh and The priestly language of Halaas.

Speaks Orcaas, Goblish and Braemarian.

Introducing Rollo

The brown haired and eyed Rollo is of average height and is the smallest of the three men in the Hellblades. He is also the newest member having replaced an original who died early on.

He is from the Capital of Keltain and is a fourth son of a knight. He's well trained for battle, carrying an arming sword and a pair of daggers. Isn't skilled with any ranged weapons other than the daggers that are balanced for throwing.

Rollo has a thing for Marleith, but is also a little afraid of the much older and experienced thief.

He likes to sing, frequently hums or whistles, he is usually good for evening entertainment by the campfire. That said he is often resentful of getting most of the scut work as junior member.

He and Rollo have a decent relationship, Rutger has taken Rollo under his wing to train him in the realities of adventure and war. He gets on well with Sval and Asaia as well. Marleith, even though Rollo goes out if his way to try and be friendly is often disdainful of the young man.

Introducing Rutger

Red haired and blue eyed,  Rutger is a physically imposing man with a great deal of strength and stamina. He is a Warrior whose primary weapon is a two handed great sword. He also carries a large hunters knife and a sling with stones for ranged attack or hunting small game.

He's no slouch in intelligence either. While he can't read, he does know basic numbers. Good at tactics but not strategic thinking, can be very impulsive at times, especially when angry.

He was born and raised at Woods End, a village in the mountains between Keltain and Orcholm. The village is ostensibly under Lord Farnham's rule at Farnham's Falls.

He carries a set of small knives and passes the time by whittling at pieces of wood, fallen branches, etc. He is pretty good at it and occasionally sells some pieces when the group is short on coin.

Due to past events at Woods End, Rutger hates Orcs and will go out of his way to kill them.

Fond (perhaps overly so) of beer and ale, he is also something of a womanizer but does occasionally find Elf men attractive. ("They're basically girls with a cock" - Rutger)

He became the leader of The Hellblades after their first time working together they took down a couple of Demons and Tenaga. This gave the group their name.
